Seeking a Planning Engineer with 15+ years of experience, including 5 years in the GCC, to oversee scheduling and progress tracking for a masterplan and infrastructure development under a PMC contract. The role involves project scheduling, critical path analysis, risk assessment, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules for master planning and infrastructure development.
Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with PMC teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and resource allocation planning.
Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and project forecasts for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with contractual schedules and client requirements.
Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
Support risk assessment and claims analysis related to project timelines.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to optimize sequencing.
Attend progress meetings and provide expert planning insights to project leadership.
Other Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Skills
15+ years of experience in construction planning, including 5 years in the GCC.
Strong expertise in Master Planning & Infrastructure Development.
Experience working in an engineering consultancy within a PMC contract.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant planning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
