The Senior Pumps Specialist is a pivotal position within the general engineering consultancy sector, focusing on the intricate details of pump systems. This role requires extensive experience and a deep understanding of pump mechanics, materials, and performance analysis. The Senior Pumps Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all pump systems meet stringent quality and performance standards, thereby contributing to the overall success of engineering projects in Kuwait.

Job Responsibilities

Check and verify pump parameters to ensure compliance with project specifications and operational requirements.
Study and analyze results from model testing of pumps to assess performance and efficiency.
Obtain metal samples prior to the shipment of pumps and other equipment from suppliers, ensuring quality control measures are in place.
Conduct thorough analyses of metal composition to define material properties and suitability for specific applications.
Present detailed reports to the Employer regarding material composition and testing results.
Gather data on metal composition from designated institutions in Uzbekistan and ensure all required certifications are presented to the Employer.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical insights and recommendations based on testing and analysis results.
Lead the troubleshooting efforts for any issues related to pump performance and material integrity.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in pump technology to enhance project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout all phases of pump system management.

Other Educational Qualification

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with over 15 years of relevant experience.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with a focus on material science and pump mechanics.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance and control.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for analysis and design.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training.
Adaptability to changing project requirements and a dynamic work environment.
